Once you create an account in the app you can submit your own report and rate it out of 5 shells. So a 1 out of 5 shells is not very good and a 5 out of 5 shells means the migration is in full swing. The user submitted report icons are a duck with a circle in the background.

Also reports from Delta Waterfowl’s biologist, vendor pro staff, and other trusted sources show up with a different icon on the map (a shotgun shell).

As a bonus Delta Waterfowl banquets will show on the map as the Delta Logo, in the view mode you can tap for quick directions to the banquet or event.

Delta Waterfowl is not responsible for user submitted reports however the reports are moderated for accuracy. This app is not to be used to give away your secret honey hole but to let users know how the migration is going.
